Absolutely disgraceful poor excuse off a company. Really really poor customer service and overall an extremely poor company. I’d advise at all costs to stay well away from these and not bother selling/renting from S&M. I’ve never known a company so uninterested and incompetent in dealing with anything. They also seem to be very good at false advertisement and hiding massive cover ups with issues within properties. Good luck getting full deposits back as well, they will do everything in their power to make sure you get sod all back. Spencer is nothing but a liar and dreadful at communicating… tells you he will contact you if need to speak to him but never does. I could go on and on about these and everyone we dealt with on how dreadful they are. Please please stay well away from Spencer & Munson, it will be nothing but a living nightmare.

Rented from them from 2019 to 2021. What an incompetent bunch. We showed up to sign our contract at a sign set by them no contract in sight and no one could find it. After sitting there for 30 minutes we decided to leave. 10 minutes later got a call from one of their agents screaming at us saying we need to figure out when we would sign. Brought this to the owner Spencer as such unprofessional rubbish. He did absolutely nothing. Ready to move out and because of their incompetence the owner lost out. We could have directed them but they had the evidence and we weren't going to tell this incompetent bunch how to do their job. Rot from the head.

Spencer Munson were my letting / managing agent for 6 years for a house I rented out in South Woodford, London. I then instructed them to sell my house in 2021. As my letting / managing agent, I always felt I was in safe hands, and Spencer Munson (the owner) went above and beyond on several occasions to resolve issues, and ensure both myself as landlord was well represented and advised, and that my tenants were happy and well looked after. His colleague Mark on the sales side of the business provided an excellent, friendly, professional service when selling my house. I would recommend this company for their extensive local knowledge, and personal, friendly service. Many thanks Spencer, Mark and team!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They called me and emailed me excessively even after I said I had left the property, they made a stressful situation 10 times worse. 6 months after moving out, I am still dealing with them. Nothing was sorted and I had to chase the multiple times to get things dealt with. They have been a nightmare to deal with and I know others have had issues too, and always seems to be very similar. AVOID!

Avoid them at all costs. Wasted a huge amount of time dealing with incompetence in their staff. Crazy charges for a flat left in immaculate condition. Will be reporting to the ombudsman for lack of service and rude responses

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS** Shocking level or service and an even worse level of communication. I have been palmed off and even told that it's MY job to chase them to do their job... Even had someone turn up unannounced while I was renting with them, and then lied to and told I was informed when I was not! I had to constantly chase to get my deposit back from them and then was hit with extremely excessive charges (nearly £300 to clean a small 2 bed flat after it was left immaculate!!) Currently have a pending complaint which has fallen outside of their procedure - AVOID

I was a fantastic tenant for years and myself and partner would mostly pay the rent ahead of schedule. However I had to end my tenancy early and was given one days notice that another tenant was moving in. Never the less the property was left in much better condition than when I moved in. Since then my old landlord has asked for my deposit to be released the deposit team are not responding to emails. I have left the property nearly 3 weeks ago and have had limited support in getting my deposit back and my emails have been ignored. Be very careful when who you give your deposit to. Once your out the property you are no longer their problem- now I will need to seek legal advice
