Buyer beware! Purchased podiatry drill off eBay. Incorrect handpiece, drill cuts out after five minutes, no suction. Does not reply to emails. This seller supplies medical equipment - he knows they are faulty but doesn't care. Thinks that you should have it checked and serviced yourself - so much for 'good working order'....

I bought a podiatry drill from EBay. When it arrived it came with the incorrect hand piece. I was promptly sent another which was damaged. The third arrived with a missing filter attachment. We managed to piece together the filter from the damaged hand piece and sent back the spare hand pieces at my expense. I wasn’t offered any refund for this. Unfortunately when we started using the drill it regularly cuts out. I have contacted speedy auctions many times with no reply. It had been 12 weeks since purchase. I assume they haven’t replied as it is over the time period to leave a negative review through eBay. Please be aware they sell very old equipment which isn’t in good condition or well maintained. We are out of pocket £599.00
