Arrived 5-7 minutes early for a 2pm appointment. No one at the welcome point to the right on entry. No one at the counter at the rear. Two existing clients being seen by two staff at two desks. No seating in the shop front. No acknowledgement of any kind by either of the two staff that someone had walked in and was stood waiting. Two further people came into this branch & waited behind me. No comment is needed on how disrespectful that absence of service is. I then listened to a young female going through her benefits in terms of her prescription cost & if that obvious, lack of confidentiality wasn't bad enough she was being told that the vision from the cheaper Varifocals (entirely new to her) had more 'blurring' in the peripheral vision. That was a disgusting piece of misinformation given to encourage purchase of the higher value thinner lighter lenses - which are entirely for cosmetic reasons not vision quality. I AM A VARIFOCALS user of ultra thin & light with a sun factor and I use the cheapest for most purpose & my vision in both is the same. I was so disgusted by that collection of faults I walked out, never to return. What a travesty of cheap n nasty service Specsavers - in every one of many branches I've been to London over the last 5 years - has become.
