I had an appointment booked and confirmed for 9am.. 9am came and went, staff still stood inside having their team meeting. When someone finally came to open up for the morning, not even an apology was offered for leaving us outside waiting

Frustrating. Specsavers asks you to book an online appointment. They offer you slots only for 2 weeks ahead. Fair enough, they are busy. Then, 2 days before your appoitment they send you a text message saying that you must confirm the appointment by phone, otherwise the appointment cannot go ahead. They don't allow you to answer by text message. You call them only to listen a recorded message "why don't you book an appoitment online ?" and you cannot get hold of them. I tried to call them several times. Even when the google says they are usually not busy, they do not pick the phone. I really want to understand the point of this policy of confirming an appoitment. It makes no sense at all.

So disappointed, no responsibility, I order my contacts lenses 2 weeks ago, and when I come to pick up, discovering they didn’t came or even been ordered, no one could check before if the contact lenses has been order or been received, no organisation, or professional, and this wasn’t first time. Now I will have to travel without contact lenses cos I don’t have time to order a new one, so annoying, frustrating. I’m really sorry but you lost a customer with more than 10 years with you. Normally I wouldn’t never right a bad review, but this is unacceptable.
