    I am so disappointed with the service I received yesterday at the Skipton store. I called the store desperately needing a MECS appointment for a an extremely painful right eye. All of my systems were given to the assistant over the phone who told me I would be triaged by an optician. I received a phone call 20 minutes later to say they couldn’t fit me in and I would need to go to A&E or book an appointment for the following day. What is the point in offering a triage facility if you know you are fully booked? I immediately called the Keighley branch to see if they were able to fit me in. I gave the exact symptoms as previous. This store was also fully booked but offered to find me another local store who could help. When no vacancies were found they asked me to come to their store where they would make space for me due to the amount of pain I was in. An excellent service was provided by Keighley Specsavers with an immediate referral to an eye specialist hospital (BRI) where I was treated for an ulcerated cornea. Shame on you Skipton.
