  Appalling level of service. Had to get a copy of a document from the firm’s archive. The solicitor argued the toss that I didn’t have the correct paperwork proving my identity to obtain the document from them. I had all the correct paperwork, but she didn’t wish to release the document because she wanted to do the probate herself and knew I’d take the business to another firm once it was released. She eventually admitted I did indeed have the right ID and passed over a copy of a document, but only after an argument in the reception area in front of other customers. Very unprofessional. Having experienced this firm there is no way that I’d ever deal with them again.

  I was hugely happy with Victoria's work on my property purchase. From the first discussions I was put at ease with quick responses, clear suggestions and, crucially, actions to address some potential challenges in a proactive way. Victoria's response time was amazing, at times I thought I was receiving a 'out of office' email with the speed my reply came back. Victoria gave me a great deal of peace of mind and I was kept clearly in the loop all the way through in a friendly, straightforward way. As a result of this work if asked "Would I use them again?" my answer is "In a blink of a eye".

  Victoria Davis is brilliant. All I heard was stories of slow solicitors with poor communication and Victoria bucked that trend completely. She was superb. All the work was completed ahead of schedule. She responded to everything, usually on the same day. I always new where I stood and what the situation was. It made my life so much easier. I'll 100% be using Victoria again. Well done.

  Well used these solicitors the Castleford branch about 4 years ago and were not to bad as solicitors go, so then used the Pontefract branch well what a disaster, so then 3rd time I went back to the Castleford branch, well talk about going down hill, had to chase the solicitor all the time, always out of the office, never returning messages. Bill was wrong, paperwork was not sent to me then problem at last minute about 3% extra charge for second property which I said that I sold my other place which they know seeing they were the solicitors, but wouldnt complete unless I paid, so I paid it and and had to claim it back because they could not get anything right. Now been in my property for over a year and still waiting for title documents, was told because of covid they were being held up, this was last year, told them to email me when they were going to send them to me. Had no email and no deeds. Bloody useless company. so many things done wrong cant be bothered to even write about. so last year I emailed the HM registry and was told that the solicitor was electronically sent them about 10 months ago, so I thought lets see how long it takes to get them, well forgot all about it till today. Still no deeds. So you definitely get nothing for your money with these lot. So use at your own peril. Thanks for your messages for me to email you, but no point it's been a year now waiting, if I sell my property I shall get the new solicitors I use to get any info required. As the HM registry emailed me and said it was sent to them 26 July 2021 to do and done 26th October. The application under the reference .......... was submitted to us on 26 July 2021.  The application was completed on 26 October and confirmation of the registration was issued electronically at the same time to the conveyancer who submitted the application.  There is nothing currently pending against the title. This is from HM Registry.

  We had a great experience with Victoria Davis who is a senior partner. We needed a remortgage with transfer of equity, and from day one Victoria was super responsive, and always responded to us within the day when we sent emails or called her office. She also had the matter concluded for us within 5 weeks, which given the complexity was very efficient and quick. We had engaged another firm of solicitors, who took 6 weeks without progress and then tried to double their fees on us for handling the transfer of equity. But not Victoria - she charged a very reasonable fee for the extra work and a very competitive fee all around. We will definitely be using her again and would recommend this firm to those needing conveyancing work. Thank you!
