My wife’s eyes were weeping, we initially put this down to cold temperatures as walked to work, however; it soon became clear this wasn’t the only instance as they were weeping whilst working indoors too. My wife sought the advice of our local pharmacist but the over the counter droops did nothing to elevate the weeping nor irritation. My wife was told to seek the advice of an optometrist or ophthalmologist. My wife was Jas an optometrist based at Specsavers Palmers Green. Jas carried out a thorough examination to ease my wife’s anxiety he patiently explained the procedure and what he was trying to identify as the possible root cause of the problem. Jas explained that my wife needed to have minute “plugs” inserted into the corners of her eyes and thus would if there were no further medical problems resolve the problem. My wife’s weeping has now stopped completely. We cannot commend Jas enough he was calm, patient, reassuring and didn’t get annoyed by the constant questions my wife asked. Jas addressed her every question where appropriate using layman’s terms so we both understood.

Everyone was lovely but my new glasses aren't making any improvement to my sight which is disappointing. They seem to be exactly the same as my old pair from 2 years ago and I find reading difficult. Been using Specsavers for years but will try somewhere else next time.
