Opticians area just so expensive. Myself and my husband spent nearly £700 on glasses. Not even 100% sure they are right. Staff all lovely and friendly and so helpful though.

I used my 2 for 1 deal to buy digital glass varifocal glasses; one for general use (especially good for driving) and a pair of sun glasses. I was surprised that, despite the use of digital glass, I needed to order a third single vision pair for computer use to avoid eye strain. Also Specsavers couldn't supply sunglasses with the graduated-glass pilot style, made famous by Ray-Ban. Other, especially online only opticians supply similar styles. but beware of Ray-Ban fakes without the in-glass logo. My Specsavers varifocals were thin, very sharp and with no colored fringes. I would have no hesitation to buy again.
