Specsavers have a really great selection of frames for both men and women. I would imagine that larger branches have even more to choose from, but you will most likely find a pair of frames that fit in the price category you can afford. They have frames starting at £15, including basic lenses, going up to about £149 for the designer frames. They usually have a special running...at the time of my purchase they were running an offer of 2 for 1, meaning that buy one, get one free....with a few caveats such as you will pay for the most expensive frames and get the cheaper one free, but you will need to pay for any additional characteristics of you lenses (polarising, tint/UV protection, thin & light, SuperClean). They also sell specialty lenses and frames, as well as do hearing tests and provide hearing aids. Specsavers will do an eye exam on premises, and for a small extra fee, they can take a digital image of your eye. Once your eyes have been examined, you pick out your frames, and then you are asked to return in approximately two weeks for the fitting. They send the glasses to a laboratory to be made, which is why there is a delay between paying for them and receiving them. They have a 100-day, no quibble return policy. They told me that if I was unhappy about anything....the lenses, the frame - doesn't matter what it is, I can return my glasses for a refund. The one niggle with this location is...the location. It's located in this tiny corner of a miniature shopping centre and parking is an absolute nightmare. If all the spots are taken, there just isn't anywhere nearby to park. The traffic around the shopping area gets so very busy in the afternoon, and it just adds a lot of stress to the visit. I know Specsavers cannot do anything about the traffic or parking issues, but you should be aware of them. I am quite pleased with my recent purchase of glasses from Specsavers, and I will shop there in the future.
