Totally amazing staff and service ! I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here. Super friendly with specialists on hand. I’ve recently had new glasses after my prescription needed changing. I then went back for contacts. I can not fault the staff and their friendless. When I had my glasses done I couldn’t get on with the left eye. They changed the lens out free of charge. Now these glasses are amazing and help me for reading (which is my problem) but I can leave them on and watch TV etc. Superb staff and knowledge.

I went after a reminder email that it had been a while since I was last there for a check. I paid an extra £10 for a procedure called an OCT scan (optical coherence tomograph) basically a 3d scan of your eyes. Knowledge is power they say, so if it helps detect issues with something as precious as sight £10 is a bargain! The eye exam that I had then afterward (carried out by Eloise) was extremely thorough and professional, giving me all the feedback possible about my sight. I can honestly say that if this is the usual standard worked to, I have every intention of taking at the very least, an annual exam, confident that I am getting a full and proper assessment of the condition of my eyes at the time.

They make you wait for a long time to be seen. Today I stood in the corridor for a long time just to collect my daughter's glasses. No one acknowledged us as we were waiting, I literally had to quickly approach one of the staff who was running around with paperwork and ask her to just give us the glasses. They need to improve on their customer service.

I've been using this Specsavers for years, all the opticians I've seen have been professional, friendly and understanding of my eye phobia(!), so naturally I chose them for my son to have his first eye test and turns out he needed glasses for an astigmatism. They helped him choose a pair, fit them a week later and he looks very smart! Appreciate their service.
