I had an appointment today at 12:30 at the Edgware Road Specsavers. I arrived at 12:25 and informed one receptionist that I have an appointment at 12:30 and he mumbled take a seat. An hour went by and so I then asked another receptionist and she said did anyone take you to this room to do the pre test and I said no. Basically, they haven’t bothered to register that I have attended, opticians were sitting in their rooms without patients and at one point I was the only one waiting and they still just hung around the floor chatting. I also noticed that when people come in to ask for appointments, they tell them that the only available ones are in a few days time but out of curiosity I checked online and found that there is many free appointments. So, they just don’t want to work.

Store employees arguing in front of customers, over half an hour behind schedule despite having an appointment... What's going on?

Really nice team. Usually these sort of places are a bit stuffy but here everyone is warm, polite and considerate. Their good energy with each other is pretty contagious. Had an eye test with Basil who’s the kind of person who clearly cares about doing his best wherever he can. Can’t praise the staff highly enough. Thank you 😊

Thank you for your exemplary service today Spec Savers. I have to admit that I felt pretty snobbish about coming to you but, your service and thorough eye test including OCT scan was impressive and no different to those small providers who charge extortionate rates. The staff were so friendly and inviting. No hard sales pitch to buy glasses either. I am glad I came.

Staff were incredible, I met a lovely African lady who was super helpful, Ikechukwu was very professional and friendly as well in his dealings with me. The female optician who took my eye test was super helpful and knew what she was doing. A bit pricey but it’s worth my recommendation.

To whom it may concern, I had an appointment today at 4pm at the Edgware Road Specsavers. I arrived a little early at 3.32pm and told the receptionist that I had arrived. She told me to take a seat and that they will call when it’s my appointment. When 10/ 1/ 2023 4pm had passed I asked the receptionist when I’d have my appointment and she told me to just sit down and someone will see me at 4.15pm. I waited another 25 minutes and still no word about when I’d have my appointment. I asked another receptionist when I would see the optician and she asked me what my name was and she looked at the system and said that they hadn’t registered me yet. I said that it was okay but if they could register me now as I’d like to see the optician. I noticed that the optician was continuously seeing other customers and my appointment was being ignored. After waiting a total of one hour and 45 minutes I had enough, this was unacceptable. If there had been some kind of delay the least I expect is to have an answer about why instead of letting other people see the optician. Regardless, the behaviour of the optician was unacceptable. I will not be returning to that branch again.
