Credit where credit is due … these guys appear to run a tight ship, friendly efficient staff, knowledgeable and caring opticians, what more can you ask. Certainly better than the farcical fashion parade over at Chelmsley Wood. Definitely be returning here.

I am very disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown in this Castle Vale mess. Today I had an eye appointment and as a contact lens wearer, I asked to be examined for reading glasses considering that I only wear them when reading and for the computer together with contact lenses. I was asked if I bought my actual contact lenses from specsaver and I said no. I was told that I cannot do a consultation if I do not have lenses purchased from this store. I asked for a consultation because I had it scheduled, strictly for eyeglasses. it was not possible. I wasted time, used petrol for car and was extremely disappointed with the customer service from this store.

Usually get a good service here. Not this time I'm afraid. Mix up with appointment. I was transferred to Chelmsly Wood. They made appointment but it was earlier than usual. Checked on your website. Which gave wrong information. Then I wasn't sure if I had to go to Chelmsly Wood. Maybe simple explanation how things work etc, would have been helpful. I went with website times ( wrong decision, which I accept) Please can you change the times on your website over the Christmas period. Not hard to do surely! It would have saved me a lot of distress and pain waiting another day with my eye condition.

I bought some expensive glasses that l love only a few months ago but I already have scratch I paid for scratch resistance not scratch-proof and I wasn't given the option, I very disappointed, I took them back but they said they can’t do anything, the staff members i spoke to didn’t find very helpful, i have always use them
