I had an experience a year ago that upset me so much I never came back and go to a specsavers in another city. I had some stuff dropped in my eye to dilute it and the optician told me to come back in an hour to the exact seat I was upstairs and he said I could do my shopping then come back. When I came back I went upstairs and was chased by a young girl with short brown hair and after explaining to her my situation she wouldn’t leave me alone so I showed her my student id because she didn’t believe me and I told her to ask the optician and she was so suspicious of me it made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome, I apologised many times and she kept being rude and treating me as if I did something horrible when I was just doing what I was told, then she ended up doing the blow tests on my eyes at the end and I’ve had it done a few times so I know it only takes about 3-4 blows per eye but she purposefully kept pressing the button about 8 times per eye and telling me to hold still after repeatedly pressing it without warning which made it feel deliberate. I don’t usually complain but I still feel so upset about how I was treated there that I just wanted to warn anyone else.
