From the first phone call through to the first meeting Sue showed much empathy and understanding and the listening skills to be able to write the eulogy that was so true.

I cannot begin to express how truly grateful my family and I are that Sue was introduced to us by the Funeral Director when we were not only devastated by the death of dad, but were also facing the huge task of arranging his funeral. It felt so overwhelming and then Sue stepped in. Quite incredibly she asked just the right amount of relevant questions to extract from us the most pertinent information that led to an incredible eulogy for dad. Sue also advised on the Order of Service, including music, and emailed many options of verses to replace our desire to not have anything religious. Sue stayed in touch at just the right level, so that when the actual day of the funeral arrived we were totally prepared about what to expect and didn’t have to worry. Sue delivered the service beautifully, with compassion and humour (as dad would have wanted!), and it couldn’t have gone better - a real celebration of dad’s wonderful life. It takes someone very gifted to take all the stress out of a funeral when it is a struggle to carry on in the aftermath of a death.

Where to start with Sue? She is such a warm, kind, friendly person who puts you at ease immediately. She has a way of asking questions, of getting you to remember silly memories and stories, remembering the essence of your loved one and she in turn has the most amazing ability to put it all down on paper and create a wonderful and intimate eulogy. Nothing was too much trouble if we decided we wanted to take something out or to add something in. She kept me update with everything. She even messaged me on the morning of my mams funeral to say she was thinking of me and my family. She is a truly lovely lady and I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone who chooses a non religious ceremony at a funeral.
