Absolutely awesome. About 30 perfect condition pinball machines, you pay a small amount and then you have free rein of all the machines with no extra cost. Plus they have soft drinks, tea/coffee, beer, with an honesty box as payment. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is so kind. This place needs even more recognition.

Special When Lit is a pinball unit. It's not really an arcade, it's 2 rooms full of pinball machines, about 25. If you're into pinball you might feel like a child in a sweet shop so be warned. Special When Lit is open to the public on Friday nights 6-10 and can be rented for private parties at other times. The cost is just £5 and all the machines are free to play.
