My friend was buying alcohol for her and a couple friends we were meeting up with (I wasn’t drinking as I was going home alone and wanted to be safe also there was only three of us there). When we went to pay, the cashier asked for id when I realised he was asking me as I was on my phone, I told him I wasn’t drinking. Instantly he gets a smirk on his face and says he’s not serving us when I tell him I’m not drinking again he gets rude speaks over me and just starts talking louder in general. I ask him why he’s getting so agressive and rude and he just keeps talking over me. Starts saying it’s the law, which if he had said nicely and calmly the first time rather than being rude I would’ve understood why and been like okay that’s fine. But the fact he was so aggressive and rude didn’t sit right with me. His coworker butted in calmly and said it is the law, which again I didn’t have an issue with I get it. Then when we’re walking away and out of the shop he says “Shove it up your arsehole”. As if I’ve done something wrong other than stand up for myself to a rude person. Will be filing an official complaint with the manager.

Staff are always lovely. Nice to have security there.i stay in manc on business every few weeks and grab a cheeky bottle from this shop. Granted the surrounding area is bit iffy. But they are always curious and professional. Plus its a 24 hour shop. What more could you want!
