You go to a spa day to feel special and relax. I felt neither from yesterday's spa day. It feels like the Spa is very dated. Changing rooms were very grotty and felt unclean. To the point where after our spa day we went home and showered. The light lunch is a joke. It's a cross between an airline meal and a child's school dinner plate. Lacked any taste and the ham was cheap ham. There is only one area to get water which is upstairs away from the swimming area and saunas etc. The swimming pool area feels unclean. The hydropool smells. After my hour and 15 mins treatment was over I wasn't even offered a glass of water. My friend had to ask for one. I would not recommend this spa.

Great place, but expensive considering there's not the best gym facilities, it is a little dated and is limited in terms of weights areas and benches. There's no barbels / squat rack / kettle bells etc that you would expect to find in a modern £50+ membership facility unfortunately. Feels like there's too many cross trainers etc taking up room and most people often waiting for those facilities (weights and related machines). The pool is amazing and really well maintained and there is a great choice of spa facilities, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms plus and ice room and jacuzzi, the open air jacuzzi and view of trees and birds and wildlife is this places winning feature. The staff are always friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. Some odd music choices sometimes... often really questionable and featuring many 'older' hits that do not really create the relaxing spa vibe you might expect and seek, which is a shame. Easy fix that one, Where's the relaxing tranquil chill vibes!? ;)

Great relaxing spa day. 4 stars due to the tired and well worn changing facilities. Lockers were difficult to lock and unlock. But would definitely go again

We let our membership lapse a few months ago and on enquiring found that the monthly fees have gone up over 20% which seems excessive even considering inflation. I do like the pool and thermal pool but the disabled changing rooms leave a lot to be desired and the showers in the men's changing room are fixed temperature and keep turning themselves off every thirty seconds. Certainly I think that if they are going to upgrade the fees then they should upgrade the facilities as well.

Sheer Bliss I had the body wrap as I needed all over moisture due to illness drying my skin. I can't thank you enough I floated out of the salon feeling wonderfully rested and pampered just a blissful experience.
