They put a great deal of time and effort into researching a previously unseen piece, calling on experts from around the world for their knowledge and opinions. I particularly appreciated that there was always someone available for me to talk to throughout the process, as it was all new to me. The auction sale itself was very well publicised, again drawing international attention and the final outcome was a fantastic £28,000 hammer price! (Several times the estimate). No seller fees to pay either. A great result.
