A you walk in you are struck by the beautiful wood lined and art adorned walls, the greeting staff is very smiley and kind. We sat in the front of the restaurant so I wasn’t t able to take in the glory of the larger interior space. We came in for a quick lunch, opting for the Escargot which was simply sublime and the steak frites. The steak was cooked beautifully medium rare and complemented the sauce well. the Frites were also good and were dipped into the bernaise sauce. The escargot where undeniably the standout dish. The steak came with a fresh side of salad which was definitely fresh but also not delectable. The atmosphere is what makes this restaurant somewhere to enjoy an enchanting Sunday meal. And the location is great. Special mention to the house red during my visit very good choice at a good price. A good spot for .4 star food 4.5 star atmosphere. service was decently good but at a 25% charge seemed a bit steep for my liking overall would return, seems like its seems like its flourishing itself into an institution in St Johns wood
