Damp reported and they have done nothing! The moisture meter is hitting 100 on the walls in the house! I have had 2 surveyors who were meant to come for the whole house but “surprise, surprise” they only came to look at a specific room on both occasions as they were told they only came to inspect one room out, they have admitted themselves the state of our house is bad and nothing is getting done, 2 months since our bathroom floor has been reported as I got told the floor will break through at any given time, we have a new born baby in the house and no one is sorting this mess out, I’m ringing non stop I have a long list of problems that are not getting dealt with. I have consistently ringing about my problems and reporting issues again and again.

I've phoned southway over a number of weeks each time unable to get through even when I reached position 1 either they didn't answer or I was cut off after being on the phone for over 30 minutes or I was so frustrated and stressed I disconnected myself such a poor service until they get there act together they don't deserve any star's 😞I reluctantly have to add one star or I wasn't able to submit woul be a minus if I had my way

Please hand back all properties to Manchester City Council. It should be abundantly clear to management that they have a problem with communications and quality of repairs to homes. Read the reviews. Umpteen complain about contacting Southway by phone. Much work that has been done on property is below a professional standard. Isn't there a government representative that can knock heads together or uproot the blatantly incompetent dreamers who believe they are doing 'oh so well' for Southway tenants. They are not! Get them out. Replace them with government recruited high achieving consummate professionals. To think Southway was absolutely fantastic in the early years. I feel that now they are using disproportionately, their income on new build property instead of upkeep of current properties. Is the financial rewards paid to higher management too lucrative for these new build schemes the reason why there has been a shift in focus on existing property care? If it is, can it be corrected, or is it too late. Such a shame. I admired openly the early days of Southway Housing. They would often get five star praise from me.

Ppl who are vunrable and have non dependent living with them check your accounts. They charging you full rent and bedroom tax where as if you receive HB the bedroom tax is ment to be deducted from your housing benefit. Doing fraud on ppls housing benefits.

Southway's antisocial behaviour officers show more support to tennants causing the problems than they do towards the tennants that are suffering from their offensive behaviour. Been complaining for years to Southway and as soon as I say I'll have to move, they couldn't wait to get the ball rolling.
