Finally, a permanent home for the Southwark Playhouse, although they are continuing to use their previous location on Newington Causeway until the site is developed. This new location has bars in two levels and a theatre that is very much like the Donmar Warehouse is its seating and staging, although the stage area is larger. If the play we went to see is anything to go by, they will have more excellent productions.

Went to watch the Berlusconi musical. I had low expectations and I’ve been surprised by the professionalism of the artists on stage. Really appreciated the live filming and projecting. Nice and intimate little theatre
