Had 3 sessions, It was a first time I've done this so I have nothing to compare to. The first session I thought went well, there were things I noticed which made me think the mediator was Bias to the other party. By the second and third session it became apparent. On occasions, the Mediator would have no opinion unless it was against my opinion. Dont expect someone who will be an objective third party to help resolve/mediate your problems. For example, the other party made comments during mediation which backed up my claim. When I asked the Mediator to confirm she responded with I have no Opinion. There is no opinion when confirming a comment, just facts. Aparrently, You have to request session summaries or it wont happen (Not sure what they think we are paying for). They did attempt to reconcile this with a free session, however, this session ended up not stating what occured but what both parties agreed to. In other words, if there was a comment she made in the actual session, if she didnt want it documented it wouldnt be regardless of whether it is what she said. This document should be objective, the mediator should have ensured it was objective. If I asked to put something down, she would say the other party needs to agree. however, if the other party requested anything she would start writing. Another example of how she was BIAS. Information which was agreed on the final statement which would have aided me was deleted and then sent through. Waste of money, I wouldnt come back for any other services from them. Response to your response. The free session was because you didnt send us a summary for the first session.
