If you are homeless, do not waste your time with the municipality. They will do nothing for you but give you papers and a phone number. Then you will lose money to access addresses, and you will lose communication time and waiting for two hours. Employees receive salaries in order to waste your time. The solution is to escape from London and try other municipalities If it is the same chaos, flee to the European Union, there they have camps for the homeless

Southwark are aweful. Housing officers are none existent. Hard to get through to repairs. Takes over a week for response via email. And "bodga job" rushes as is our window frame repair and left half of it and didnt even do the other half correctly. Now I gotta go through complaints system again. The block landing windows are filthy and window been cracked for years. Dont even get me started on the floor they said would paint in block years ago. And ceiling is stained. They do as little as possible.

Trying to contact a person to speak with in this council is non existent. Ive just been on numerous hold numbers over a period of 30 mins, trying to get through to building and planning services. When I finally got to through to them, an automated message told me “ we have a lot of lines busy and it’s just quicker to write an email” and then I was disconnected. What a useless service! Not even worth one star
