Southwark Aquatics is a friendly local swimming club, based mostly at Seven Islands Leisure Centre. SASC is blessed with excellent and committed coaches and managed by keen parents, and every swimmer at SASC is encouraged in the pursuit of the goal of being the very best they can be, from precocious water junkies to the young later developers. The notions of swimming as a valuable life-skill and healthy exercise, sound technical development, enjoyment of the sport, teamwork, and a social cohesion are ones espoused by all at the Club. Since joining SASC from another club, where their development had stalled for the lack of technical guidance, our kids have blossomed. They love the coaching, they improve in every aspect of their swimming every week, they are physically healthy, are in a group of keen swimming friends, and they are proud to represent the Club. Very happy swimmers.
