Southsea has only just been visited by the leaders of the world. These areas should be lush with fruit, veg and a rainbow of flowers and plants. Yet all I found was dry grass, burn marks, bush and trees. This is not good enough. 3 star.

Lovely little garden and friendly people to chat to but just tried emailing them using address mentioned on website and it's not working - got a healthy but unproductive blackcurrant bush they might like to try nurturing as it's not thriving in large pot, needs to be in ground. I understand more likely to be people around on tuesdays, will try again then, shame they not contactable (don't do facebook)...

Southsea Green is a lovely little community garden next to Greens Cafe and the kids park. Have enjoyed many evenings just watering the garden and chatting with fellow like minded people. Free to join as volunteer to help maintain or put your name down for a plot. The choice is yours:)
