TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! CURRENTLY £3,000 out of pocket. Me and my partner purchased a Babboe E-Mini Cargo bike from SouthSea Cycles in May 2022. We were told that there was an 8 - 10 week lead time. As of the time of writing we still have not received the bike almost a full year later. Southsea have provided sporadic updates blaming Brexit, suppliers and the shipping regulations but have consistently promised the bike would arrive within the next few weeks/months. There communication has been unresponsive at best with us consistently chasing any update. We have now decided we would like a full refund. We have sent the following communications indicating this: -3 Emails -10 calls (2 answered) - 10+ facebook messages - Instagram Message. All have gone unanswered. I see SouthSea generally have great feedback on here so am I truly disappointed to have to share such a negative experience but the whole process has caused me and my partner a lot of stress and meant that we have been unable to provide transport for our two young children. Southsea I will happily remove this review when you have contacted myself or my partner and arranged the full refund!

Fantastic staff and store Really honest. We had two bikes that were both needing some tlc, The staff were very honest and told us that it would simply cost more to repair than to buy them both new, and fixing up, would essentially (in my words) be mutton dressed as lamb. Instead of taking my cash and repairing for a quick penny, they spoke about other options available, and bikes that suit out needs and budget and where I could responsibility dispose of them. I'm really thankful for their transparency!!!
