SMC surpassed my expectations and manufactured a fine set of gates that look fantastic. Manufacture and build is difficult in these covid times and I was kept fully informed of their progress throughout the manufacture, powder coating and indeed installation. Attention to detail is a key element of Kevins craftsmanship. I would have no hesitation in recommending SMC.

Kevin made and installed railings on the steps at the front and back of our property. The quality of the railings is excellent and the installation really thorough. Kevin kept us updated on the progress of the fabrication at all stages so we knew when he was coming to install. He left the area really clean afterwards and was kind and polite. I’d have no hesitation using him again or recommending him. Lovely to find a skilled local craftsperson who charges a very reasonable amount. 5 stars +!!

Kevin fitted my front step railings 3 years ago and did such a great job I contacted him earlier this year to fit the same to the back steps, and a new gate. He was busy and I was prepared to wait for him to do the work. He has now just about to hang the gate and I am again very pleased with everything he has done. Would recommend him to anyone….he is polite, friendly, explains everything he is going to do and tidy. Thanks Kev…glad you liked the Bakewell tart !
