More than happier with your help, without it our family would have been destroyed without any chance of getting back as it should be. We are both stronger and 100 times better at talking without the sudden explosions of anger from both of us. Our children are so much more happier now we are getting on better than expected. I cannot thank you enough for all your help. Jim.

Southern Family and Louisa were very helpful during mediation with my ex partner. Louisa is knowledgeable and provided impartial advice. Personally I learnt a lot from Louisa and the sessions which I’m grateful for. Although my ex did not want to continue the process I am very happy I started mediation and will recommend Louisa and her team any day.

I met Louisa in November 2022 when I and my ex-husband were trying to sort out our finances post divorce. She acted professionally at all times. I loved the session where she met the children and fed back to parents. This taught me to be mindful of my actions around the children as it might affect their development. She was extremely friendly, making it easy to share information with her. I will definitely recommend her services to friends and family. Thank you

Louisa has simply made a very daunting process into a very positive experience. Her clear expert knowledge of human behavior's and legal processes were demonstrated in every meeting in an extremally un bias and empathetic way. Thank you Louisa, I will most defiantly be recommending your services.

Very lovely people, extremely helpful, professional service. Helped my partner and I through a tough time, even though ours wasn’t a typical case of going our separate ways (we are now not only reconciled but married!) Louisa was so helpful and supportive, our sessions helped us in so many ways, would definitely recommend.

Southern Family Mediation are one of, if not the best family mediators in the South of England, Louisa is very highly recommended. If you are very unfortunate enough to end up in an acrimonious divorce situation such as I have just been through, Mediation is by far the best and cheapest way forward. Also don't ever assume it will be or remain amicable as it always appears that way at first until finances are involved. Southern Family Mediation and Louisa offers a very friendly, fair, balanced, impartial review of your circumstances offering a fair legal outcome based upon years of experience in dealing with such matters. You can attend individually or as a couple which makes the process so much easier to deal with. In addition Louisa will put your children’s welfare first and foremost as a family mediator, this would be the same way in which a family court judge would view it in a family court. The priority of the children’s welfare and housing needs are above all else. Despite going through mediation with an agreed outcome, each party may want to take their own legal advice as occurred in our situation, at this point an expectation is generally set far too high for each individual party by their own legal representative, therefore an ensuing lengthy, costly legal battle occurs between parties. The winner of course being the solicitors deteriorating whatever pot of funds you have left. This is a very protracted costly process. I would strongly avoid this - stay through mediation . I can say after going through this process with each party spending in excess of £6K individually on legal fees and prior to going to court that would cost in addition circa £15K to £20K per party, with an additional 6-18 month further delay. The actual final outcome achieved exactly matched the outcome achieved during mediation albeit 8 months later with substantial additional legal costs incurred, with additional substantial stress for both sides. This could have been avoided by staying in mediation. I would strongly advise of continuing mediation. Louisa and Southern Family Mediation will give you both a very fair balanced outcome that will represent where you will be should you choose to go through individual legal representation and family court. This may not suit or meet each parties expectation but it will match where you will end up.
