Paul and Ollie great guys helped me with fixing my personal bikes puncture and letting me wash it aswell! The rental bikes were really good aswell! Good quality some were brand new.

My kids (15&13) and I had a brilliant afternoon at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the ebikes. Great welcome, relaxed and enthusiastic and lots of ideas about where we could go. The bikes were in brilliant condition and the charge lasted so long… I don’t think we even managed to lose one bar on the battery so there would be plenty for a whole day’s hire. We’ll definitely be back!!

A friend and I decided to try an electric mountain bike so we arranged to rent two of their full suspension booked for a day. When we booked they took great care to ensure we got the right size bikes for our height and they adjusted the suspension for our individual needs too. On the day the weather was forecast to be absolutely foul and to my amazement Southern eBike contacted us the day before and volunteered that we might want to postpone - which they would allow at no cost. That was a really nice offer but we were determined and ploughed on regardless. It turns out they were right, the weather was atrocious! Nevertheless, the booked were brilliant and perfectly set up for us. We had an incredible ride along a 12 miles section of the most beautiful part of the South Downs Way, a fantastic lunch at a great pub in Elsted (The Three Horseshoes) and a fantastic ride back, now in the sunshine. Our conclusion was that we had a really memorable experience, the bikes were fantastic and make being on the Downs an absolute joy in any weather and given the quality of the bikes and the service recieved we thought it was good value for money. Many thanks to Paul who took great care of us from the initial booking and throughout. We will most certainly hire those bikes again. Fabulous fun to be had here.
