Southend High School for Boys is an amazing school that not only focuses on Maths and English, but all subjects. They're basically an all-rounder. They give you these green stickers called 'Merit Marks' to say 'Keep it up' and give you a sanction (which is basically a detention) when you are doing something wrong. One thing that I love about this school is that most of the sanctions are during lunch time and not after school unlike other schools (Which is basically the opposite to us). However, some decision I think are flawed. For example, Vertical tutoring. Vertical Tutoring is when you socialise and work together with other year groups for about 7 weeks. I dislike this because it is very awkward: it is like forcing yourself to socialise with people you do not know. I understand the fact they're trying to help you with your social skills but I disagree how they are executing it. Other than that, it is a YES from me.
