    Their website (specifically my account) is extremely outdated and laggy. It seems as if it's a bunch of mini websites stacked together but have no connection to each other. Furthermore, last year they introduced a new council-tax and business rates management page, where it's a little bit less messed up than what it used to be but it uses such old technologies and is so painfully slow and unappealing. The planning portal is also extremely slow. Downloading planning documents is an utter nightmare, takes agess of tedious back and forth and waiting for files to download and also gets frozen in between. They could definitely use a UX person to improve the website appearance.

    I pay for my parking in southend monthly £8.50, so that I can park in any zone in a bay and not get a ticket, however, their parking wardens nearly gave me a ticket because it wasn’t showing up on their hand held device!! Why bother paying for parking monthly, when it doesn’t even work and you get tickets anyway!! I’ve left them a voicemail since they never answer their phone, SOUTHEND COUNCIL ARE SCAMMERS!!
