Had a private citizenship ceremony yesterday and the entire process had been done smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Catherine, the Superintendent Registrar conducting the ceremonies was an absolute gem. She was very friendly and made my guests and I feel welcomed. The Jubilee Hall, where the ceremony was held, was decorated beautifully. Overall, very happy to have had an important event done through this council. However for future citizenship ceremonies, I suggest a larger portrait of the sovereign and perhaphs play two verses of the God Save the Queen? 😃
