Went there with kidney pain and I requested an ultrasound or scan and they were testing me for pregnancy...they kept me there for 6h in agony looking for a pregnancy that never happened. Gave me paracetamol, very helpful, so helpful that i had really bad shivers and i was throwing up a lot from pain. After 6h they gave me morphine and helped me with pain a lot, but the nightmare that I had to deal with during those 6h was unbelievable. They sent me to Princess Ann hospital to check me for ectopic pregnancy, torsonated ovary or chist - nothing there of course so they discharged me. My husband picked me up, drove 10 mile, after those 10 miles went back to A&E in pain and pressure on the bladder. After 12h spent in there, they took in consideration that I might have a kidney stone, which was confirmed next day at MRI, 4 mm stone. Extremely unprepared, even if they have all the technology in the world. They don't use technology at all to speed up the process of diagnosis...unbelievable...

abnormal waiting time, after asking which I am on the list, I heard from the receptionist that there are more important cases than mine. I do not recommend, avoid at all costs.

The staff at the a&e where really great. They put up with a lot of patient abuse, and that's really not fair. I was in and out in 4 hrs, including X-rays and prescriptions on January 1st. Please be considerate towards the staff, talking down to them and treating them poorly is not ok.

To the amazing drs and nurses who work tirelessly at the hospital thank you so much. The radiologists, receptionists, engineers, cleaners and everyone else who I missed thank you … The wait is a tad long but you will get seen in the end considering how busy it is…. They can only do their best with what they have and believe me it’s non stop in there.

Long waiting times & lack of information about how long the wait will be. Waiting room is hot and seating is uncomfortable. Staff is trying best but clearly struggling.

Went here because food keeps getting stuck in my chest even milkshake will not go down and getting stomach sharp pains at the top of my stomach and they were telling me this was not a medical emergency in the triage and If I do stay and wait it will be 4-5 hour wait but they will most likely not find whats causing it. Decided not to wait and went to a pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist about my issue and she said it is a medical emergency and didnt understand why they told me that!!!
