Having being diagnosed with frontal fibrosing alopecia my confidence was at an all time low. Thinking of wearing a wig was unimaginable. Within minutes of walking through the door at Frobishers I was immediately made to feel comfortable and confident. No, it isn't easy choosing the right wig but everyone at Frobishers quickly gets to know your preferences, what styles and colours will suit you and what styles won't! I thought that I would buy wigs in different colours and lengths but once you know what suits you it is probably best to stick with the same colour. I know that other women's testimonials and reviews mean a lot when you are faced with a situation like this. I cannot thank and recommend the ladies at Frobishers enough for helping me regain my confidence.

My Mum was going through chemotherapy, and they didn’t bother looking at the referral form from the NHS for the wig. One lady was rude throughout making her put on and off her wigs on her own, getting annoyed when my mum was struggling. The wigs were also not recommended well to suit, also ordered one and never got a phone call to say it was ready! As soon as we suggested getting a bandana, the lady said no these were for onchology patients, to which I said that’s why we are here. As soon as she knew this her attitude changed and all of a sudden she was faking being nice which isn’t very genuine. Please avoid if you are going through anything sensitive as this really upset us both how awful people can be.

During my visits to these amazing ladies i was shown so much care, compassion and kindness! I was very overwhelmed and emotional at the thought of buying a wig during chemotherapy, but they couldn’t have been kinder! They went out their way to make sure I left feeling amazing! They have an amazing range of wigs, hats and accessories in a beautiful show room, with space for privacy! I would highly recommend them! Thank you again for making such a difference during a personally difficult journey!
