My 87 year old mother in law has been left with no heating or hot water for 5 days now and still no end to the problem in sight. All that you get from SYHA is that their contractor is short staffed , but they will prioritise her. No communication at all. When we contacted contractor directly they said that the problem had not been reported to them for 2 days They say that that they MAY get round to her in a few days. So do SYHA think that an 87 year old woman living alone without heating for nearly a week is acceptable ?
