My daughter is, unfortunately, unwell at the moment, so is unable to proceed with an on-site viewing, so it's been postponed until a later date. Awesome traffic noise reduction. Awesome service. The dramatic rise in motorbikes fitted with illegal exhaust pipes designed to emit noise of 100db plus, makes living with 100m of a busy road hell, even with double glazing. SE Secondary Glazing didn't promise a reduction when they surveyed my apartment and suggested fitting a secondary window with laminated acoustic glass to one window to test the effects. The window, manufactured in London is high quality, fairly priced and was delivered and fitted on time. The result is amazing! I recently had a new Garden / Patio door installed by this company. The service was excellent, as was the quality of their work . A vast improvement on the previous door I had, I only now realise how much of a draft and noise pollution that was coming through the old door!. They also fitted a cat flap for me. I'm very impressed with this company and their customer service. I had 2 large secondary glazing units fitted 5 years ago. The process was very smooth and I received excellent technical advice. The quality of the installation was top-notch and the improvement made on sound insulation was above expectations. What really impressed me is that 5 years later I had to request for a replacement lock for one of the two units, which I have received with 24h at no cost thanks to Sarah. We chose se glazing for our secondary glazing as they use thicker glass than the rivals. We are extremely happy with them and the noise blocking and insulation is fantastic! Poor Customer service and bad quality secondary glazing. We paid a lot to have secondary glazing installed in all rooms 2 years ago and two door handles have already fallen off. Contacted se glazing 4 months ago to repair/replace them and have not heard back. We are chasing it up weekly but no one gets back to us. We would not recommend this company. I had secondary glazing fitted on two windows in my flat due to living on a main road which was very noisy. I have to say they didn’t do the best job. The windows are identical but they fitted the glazing differently on both windows and as a result the effectiveness of the sound proofing is different on both windows. On one window the glazing was fitted how you see in the gallery on their website - with a nice white frame fitted right inside the window frame with no gaps and this window now lets in very little noise at all. The other window had the glazing fitted a very strange way - the secondary glazing frame was fitted back to front which left an inch gap all around it between the new frame and the original window frame. Apparently this was the best method to give the best sound proofing but this window still lets in a lot of noise and hasn’t really worked. It’s also annoying that when I close one side of the secondary glazing, the other side slides open and vice versa. I have to physically hold both sides when sliding them shut to stop the other side pinging open. Really annoying. On the day they were fitted one of the panels was damaged which they did replace but meant another morning off work to let them in to do it. Overall a very mediocre job unfortunately and I wish I’d spent a bit more and got the job done properly.

Had secondary glazing fitted in for the first time 2 years ago. Since their installation, the goods never worked correctly, as they hit against the pre-existing original windows, thus making it impossible to open the windows. I requested several times for them to intervene, but the the partial repairs you provided failed to remove the cause of the problem. They promised to replace the secondary glazing entirely. Since March 22nd, I requested them to fix them again but they never actually came, answering in a very dry way hat they'd be in touch (3 months ago...)
