My wife and I had the most unfortunate experience of making a booking for 3 nights from 24th February 2023, purely guided by “very good reviews” ! When we arrived in our motor home only we discovered what a dump it is! It’s more like an industrial place with caravans for sale, discarded junk metal in heaps etc. Toilets were filthy, broken door handles, wash hand basins were grubby with stoppers stuck, therefore having to wash hands or brush your teeth very carefully as the water levels were up to the overflow! Hot water on tap lasted about a minute! Lights in the toilet go off on a timer within about 2 minutes while still using the toilet ! Grounds were equally bad to walk our two little dogs. Though one has to pay for a shower, looking at them, one would rather not! In short, by far the worst caravan park we have ever been to. In the end, last straw was when we discovered there was no electricity coming through the hookup and decided to leave after the 2nd night! None of these exaggerated and based on our own recent experience, hence the warning to people who enjoy travelling in caravans and motor homes!

Domino Falling
The tent camping area is in an apple orchard, which was lovely and charming. The staff were super helpful, especially when we realised we had left our tent pegs at home... whoops! We arrived after 5pm, but just phoned the mobile phone number on the door and the staff welcomed us and showed us where to camp. The camping shop has a great range of caravan and camping equipment. Loos and showers are modern, clean and well kept. A thoroughly pleasant experience, we will definitely be camping with them again next time we visit that part of the country.

This place is absolutely filthy do not stay in this campsite at all cost. Human stains on the beds showers were no cleaner than the disgusting pod. I wouldn’t let my dog live in this place! I payed 200 pound upon arrival I left the site 6 hours later and they refused my refund. So much potential but just money hungry scruffs clean your site! This place needs shut down

Nice site just north of the king Alfred's way. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only £15 for a small bikepacking tent in the orchard. Showers were hot and facilities clean.

Having stayed here several times over the last few years, it is very clear that a site is only as good as the manager and staff you employ. It appears that since I last visited the business, only 5 weeks ago, there has been a staff change. Very helpful, very polite and clearly full of enthusiasm to make improvements.
