  Steve from soundproofing store helped me design the most effective system for a studio in my garage and after a few months working on it when I can I can now happily say I have full band practice in my own garage with no impact on the neighbours at all. Installed exactly as instructed it works brilliantly. All the materials were delivered when I required them and had enough for the project and the reductoclip system is far better than others I've used. Great service and product.

  I was promised next day delivery and had workmen set out for this. The items were not sent in time, they did not accept any fault and offered no refund for the delivery cost. Disappointed to have been promised something and not delivered.

  The product is excellent, I'd strongly recommend accepting the 6cm lost room space and going for the reducto clip system over the plasterboard. My neighbours are incredibly loud and live in the bedroom which connects to mine through a party wall. I could hear their full conversations, TV and other noises you don't want to hear, it sounded like they where in my house. 3 weeks after installing the system I haven't heard a thing in my bedroom and it's made a huge difference to my quality of life. The stuff is incredibly heavy so you need at least 2 people to install and it took about a day to do everything, if you're not a confident DIY'er I'd recommend not doing it yourself. Marked down a star because delivery was very expensive and I had an awful experience, first shipment turned up broken and the second got delayed by a day after having to wait a week for a new one.

  Helped me spec some soundproofing for my new home with a small recording/teaching studio on the ground floor. Fast turnaround, really helpful staff and I can work in the evening now without waking my young son sleeping directly above. I wish I could say the same about the cowboys who fitted it all. They ignored the documents I printed (which are very clear and very good!) in multiple ways, even after I literally walked them through all the important points. Imagine my disappointment when I came over to find a thin strip of Soundscreed on one edge of the room.... Luckily it still seems to work great and even when teaching bass lessons, he's sleeping through it all. Never heard a noise through the party wall either, except feint dance music when they really REALLY pump it through the open fireplace. I would expect this as I picked the balance between thickness and actually needing space in the room and the fireplace is fully open. Overall, I would consider it money well spent. Only downside is I'm stuck with a full roll of Tecsound SY70... Maybe the cowboys couldn't be bothered to use it on both sides of my alcove that was filled in or my measurements were off or something but the wife is sick of it and it's not the type of product I can get rid of very easily, let alone move around haha. I might perhaps stick it on the fire door of the studio.

  Spent over 1k last year, it has done nothing. We can hear the neighbours speaking/coughing through the walls. My husband fitted everything to the detail and got advice from yourselves on how to best fit it. Really wasn't worth the money. Wouldn't recommend.

  Fixed soundboard4 as thin direct fix solution for voices heard from next door. Available media suggested good results and the thin composite nature of the board would replace a previous solution of isolated stud wall built next to the face of the wall and finished with high density plasterboard. This worked well but at the cost of 100mm off the room. Soundboard4 fixed direct to the wall promised to regain 70mm or thereabouts .....Didnt work at all. Supplier now suggests removing the board and refixing using isolating clips and resilient bars which to me negates the need and the space saving value of this expensive composite board. Disappointed in the board and the direct fix advertised solution. Quite expensive with no guarantee of success.

  I would like to give this place a higher score as the original person i dealt with was nice in helping work out my original project but the delivery prices are horrendous. They don't show inc vat on their site, claimed other sites use fake products. Charged £110 for delivery and brought a massive lorry with a fork lift for something that could be brought in a long transit, refused my offer to collect to save on cost. When i needed 4 extra clips (no bigger than 8"x1") they charged me £15 delivery (as a favour they claimed instead of full price) and when the package arrived it said £3.70 on the label. I emailed them to ask about the blatent overcharging and Ian the rep has just ignored me.
