Edit: **The people that work for this company are putting up 5star reviews to boost the rating, reported to Google! ** I met a woman from this dog school at the local vets puppy party. I tried to speak to her after the informal session. She insisted that my puppy needed socialising and that he needed puppy class for his own sake despite me saying he could do everything they teach in their puppy class. Apparently I wouldn’t be doing him any justice not to take him to a puppy class. 7 puppies and over 14 humans Squashed In a vet waiting room with a pup less than a meter away on each side of my pup (one pulling towards my pup consistently) i mentioned that he can focus he just needs more space and it wasn’t representative of a class at all, she disagreed. During talking She cut me off to take someone else’s email address and began to leave without finishing the conversation with myself. She took my email address to email me about the said class that my pup could not do without… but as you guessed she never emailed me! I’m glad she didn’t email me! she was abrupt, rude and didn’t want to listen to me, I’m sure it would have been the same in a class im glad I didn’t waste my time and money! (Oh and my pup is doing very well with training without a puppy class!)

We started Sound Hounds with puppy classes and soon progressed up to receiving our Gold Good citizen certificate which includes, Stop the dog (emergency stop) Off lead heelwork amongst other dogs and people, return to handler, relaxed isolation and a 2 minute off lead down stay. I can't stress how invaluable these skills are. All of the instructors we met along the way were amazing, highly professional and impressively knowledgeable, as well as always being happy to help troubleshoot any problems we were facing. The addition of puppy parties and socialisation walks alongside our training were very beneficial. I would highly recommend them to help build your dogs confidence as it makes walks so much more enjoyable. A massive thanks to everyone at Sound Hounds for helping us achieve our very best, the classes have made such a difference in our puppy and in our home. I would highly recommend Sound Hounds.

I actually considered this for a while. We got puppy class for my dog from here all was good. I have a small dog and syndrome barking so much so we want to have behaviourst coming in. She came but she was injured on her back. She wasn't really able to move easily or go to my dog level etc... later she didnt want to walk too much as it was getting darker too. I was really questioning why we didn't delay then. Well I have been following the school still for a while, I have 1 negative , 1 positive experince. - negative costed a lot. I have seen a post about reactive dog class I wanted to learn more, so raised questions how that works etc... as I wasn't happy from 1:2:1 session and instead I got email saying that ' we are booked in and need to pay £55 in 7 days' As a result, I guess they care more about business than quality or what/how their customer feels so I wont really suggest this place to anyone anymore.

We have been using Sound Hounds since last July. We have attended Puppy Class, had home visits and at present attend pack walks and Bronze training classes. I cannot recommend highly enough the kindness, expertise and ease to understand what you need to do to get a well behaved dog and how to understand what they are thinking. Neil is a fabulous trainer, who clearly loves all of the dogs that are lucky enough to attend his classes. We asked Nicky to come for a house visit as we were struggling to keep on top of Duke’s behaviour, turns out we have a very anxious boy, but we would never have realised this without Nicky’s help, her knowledge is clear as is her instruction and she is happy for me to email with any questions I have afterwards. This is the first time we have used dog training and will never try to do it for ourselves again. No question is too much (and I ask a lot of questions)!! The pack walks are also an excellent way of getting your dog socialised if you have not had much opportunity to work on this and recall. I cannot recommend Sound Hounds enough and I feel that I have total support from them which is helping Duke grow into a beautiful boy, thank you so much 😊

We have attended Soundhounds training with both of our dogs from initial puppy classes right through to KC Gold award. They are great, all of the instructors are professional and patient, with a wealth of experience. We would not hesitate to recommend them for any aspect of dog training and socialisation.

Hands down the worst puppy training sessions I've ever attended. Most patronising, rude, aggressive lady I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Even the dog hated her.
