I’ve recently worked with Rebecca and Ruth at Sound Equine who quite simply are fantastic vets. I would especially like to thank Ruth, we first met at an emergency call out and despite the stressful situation I was impressed by her compassion for both horse and owner. Since then we have worked together on a complex lameness investigation, it’s not just her experience and knowledge that make her a vet I highly regard and trust it’s the support and feeling of being a team working together. Ruth installs a lot of confidence in her diagnosis, she’s thorough and doesn’t rush and always leaves you with a plan for the next steps. The support doesn’t end at the appointment , she is always available to talk things through, I am immensely grateful for everything she’s done. And thank you to Clare for always being so helpful and friendly whenever I have called the practice.

I first met Ruth in May 2021 when she came out to my young mare. As a former RVN, I’ve met and worked with many vets but Ruth instantly impressed me with her confident diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Her knowledge of all things lameness/legs/scanning is second to none and she is an important part of our support team. Nothing is too much trouble and she’s always happy to liaise with other colleagues, farriers and physios for a while body approach.

Absolutely brilliant vets practice! I've most recently been dealing with Davide and he's absolutely faultless! He's prompt, efficient, tidy and very informative. Never minds me asking questions and always has time to explain things through so I know what's going on! The only vets practice I will use for my equine needs. 100% recommended. I'd just like to add to this.. it's now been two weeks post my horses treatments and he's feeling better then he ever ever has! Davide was out for another horse on the yard and still took the time to ask me how stoker was going and express his delight that things were going well. I honestly can't thank Davide and the team enough for their care!

The vets at Sound Equine have been fantastic since I joined the practice a little over a year ago. They have dealt with a whole load of issues and my horse is now sound and happy enjoying her work. A big thank you especially to Sophie and Ruth with their wealth of experience and knowledge, always happy to help, without them we wouldn’t be were we are today!

Good vets- but complete rip off fees. Nearly needed resuscitation when they presented the bill! Far better local practices with good vets and fair pricing.

Started using Sound Equine over a year ago because of the financial deals they offered. Since then have used them for routine work and two emergencies. Their vets are effective and I believe extremely knowledgable. I could not be more impressed and grateful for the service they have given my horses. Thank you !
