I went out to Sophie’s last night after being told it was highly regarded in the area and honestly I was flabbergasted at the quality of the food that was delivered to our table last night. We waited one hour for our starter to arrive ( squid) only for the food to be cold and tiny in portion size. We had moules mariniers ordered for the main and waited another half an hour after our food to arrive only for this meal to be cold yet again. This time we had to send it back ( which I’ve never done in my life) as it wasn’t pleasant being handed a cold plate of mussels and being charged £17 for the trouble. To make matters worse I have now been given food poisoning and expected to miss two days of work as a result. I have never left a review like this and never plan on doing so ever again but I am shocked at the food being served from a well known establishment in Chelsea. I left the restaurant feeling taken advantage off and massively let down by this debacle. Based on a previous review it appears the management show initial interest in these things but then just let it slide however over time this will impact your business. I don’t know the impact amongst staff this will make but an explanation of some sort would go some way.

Avoid eating there! The sirloin steak had a lot of grease from the grill, the taste was awful, taste of old meat. The quality of the meat was the worst I have ever tried. Sauces and dressings from the bottle, frozen fries, mix salad from a bag and we are a steak house. Yupi, let's rip of some customers. We will have a nice decoration, so they will come back. NO! Customers are not stupid any more!
