Sophie is wonderful. From our first interaction to regular communications, she has been professional but also understanding and empathic towards us and our needs. Sophie was open and transparent from the start and supportive. She regularly communicates with us and provides updates as well as progress and areas we can focus on outside of a therapy session. My child enjoys their interactions with Sophie and has positive feedback. They have built a good relationship and my child will ask when will he next see Sophie. Her sessions have contributed to my child being confident and remaining determined in what he may be attempting. Sophie works on developmental areas but also incorporates areas of focus from the school. She interacts with the teachers and SENDCo ensuring her activities have an impact in the classroom or to support my child with complexities in the schools focus areas. There has definitely been a marked improvement on our child’s speech and vocabulary. Our child remains confident, resilient and determined to do they best, not only at school but at home. I have a 3 year old daughter who I noticed was falling behind in speech and language development. We came across Sophie who we could only describe as amazing!. She came to our home and done an assessment on our daughter. The session was just great, she really in that short time built a really good rapport with our daughter. The assessment was very child friendly. she really just engaged well with our daughter to get the full picture of our concerns. She’s very professional and you can really tell she genuinely cares and wants what you as a parent also want. We look forward to continuing working with Sophie until our little girl grows to develop in these areas.

Sophie did a full speech and language assessment of our 8 year old. We then engaged her for about 6 months of weekly speech therapy. Sophie is friendly and engaging and throughout the sessions played lots of speech games which were fun and interactive. She shared strategies with us to practise in between sessions which have really helped our child make progress.
