Been here a number of times but this was definitely not the best. We were seated and our order was taken quick enough but it went down hill from there. First up, they had ran out of green beans ( I was offered an alternative) - you're supposed to be running a restaurant, surely it can't be that difficult to make sure you have plentiful supplies of popular items? Secondly, ran out of dry ice for the cocktails; your cocktails are one of the selling points of the restaurant so again, to run out items likely to prove popular isn't great. When our food arrived, some items were missing and had to be chased up. Saying "they'll be here in a few minutes" when we could see the servery from our seat which had nothing on it gave me the impression that they'd actually forgot them. When our table was cleared, we asked the gentleman for our bill and patiently waited.....and waited.....and waited some more, in fact we began to wonder if it was being hand-written with a quill by mediaeval monks on parchment. It eventually arrived after we asked another member of staff. I was concerned that not a single person in the kitchen was wearing a head covering, and the gentleman who I presumed was head chef, surely should have been wearing a snood due to him having full beard. If I should ever find any hairs in my food....... Overall I wished I had gone elsewhere, and next time probably will.

Came in for bottomless brunch. Seated quickly, drinks provided within seconds. Then we sat at the table with empty glasses for 25 minutes - not very bottomless if I have an empty glass for that long. I love Sonrisa and have been many times but this service was pathetic - there was only one other table with people on it in the entire restaurant. I cancelled my order for bottomless brunch and paid for just the two glasses of prosecco instead.

Food incredibly salty and overpriced. Waited 40+ mins for the bill after asking two members of staff, wasn't even that busy.

The food is great, have been about a dozen times. The service is not so great, especially for drinks. Even in the "bar" area, when sat at the bar, you don't seem to be able to order a drink from the barman, you have to go through a waiter. If in the restaurant, the waiters place the order at the bar and the single barman makes up the orders then places the drinks on the end of the bar. The waiters don't seem to keep an eye on things and we've seen our drinks sat for a few minutes on the bar (multiple times on multiple visits) before anyone brings them over. A couple of times we've had to point at the drinks and ask if they are ours. They probably need another barman, but also some ability to use their common sense. If the barman has made up drinks and placed them on the bar, but he can see that no waiter has seen them, why can't he flag a waiter, or even quickly carry them over himself if he's not pouring more drinks. This would keep the customers happy, they'd sell more drinks and they may even get some tips!
