I would like to thank everyone at Sonesta Care Home for the way they have treated my father since he became a a resident last year. From what I have witnessed, not only my father but every resident at Sonesta is treated with love, patience, attention and compassion. Lata who is the long standing manager with the support of owner Mrs Chowdhry have assembled a special team who show absolute dedication and devotion to their roles based on their own nature and not out of duty. Each and every staff member we have come across are always welcoming, smiling and always have time to report on the progress of my father who was admitted with a chronic grade 4 bed sore, osteomyelitis and C diff infection. By all accounts, we were told by medical personnel that the nature of his conditions would be near impossible to remedy but through a collective determination from all of the staff under Lata’s guidance, he has successfully healed and recovered to a stable condition. Everyone who has visited my father is convinced that he is staying at the best place possible with the reassurance that he is receiving expert care and diligence he would not have been able to receive even at his own home amongst his own family support given his complicated medical needs. We are truly thankful to each member of the team at Sonesta for their passion, compassion, love, kindness and devotion to those under their care. Dr A.M

This is to express my sincere and deepest appreciation to the management and most especially the care and support staff at Sonesta ( Finchley road – Golders Green London) Calling them staff seem unappreciative of what they truly are, extended members of our It’s difficult to express what the heart feels, there loving humane and personal care accorded to my aunt. From the very moment she came into their care, she was accepted as one of their own, her need fully supported and made not only my aunt very comfortable but every visiting member of her family. We took great pride and encouragement in the professional manner in which they discharged their duties, indeed each one of us were afforded the same courtesy. I would like to use this opportunity to once again say an unwavering massive thanks. this is the worst care home I have ever been in. I wouldn't put my dog in here. The place is filthy. As much as the staff were nice they were not very nice and the manager was officious. The receptionist was lovely. The management and owners treated their staff badly and I know were rude to them. My friend died 3 years ago and they said they had found a Will so I went over to find out about this and when I got there they thought I was viewing and showed me her room with her stuff still in it. They are appalling and still send me Christmas cards from my friend who died 3 years ago in March next year. I think social services should close them down. To think my friend, who had dementia ended up in this place at the end of her life.
