I hired this restaurant as a private venue for my 60th birthday on 11th February letting Helen know that it was a family event and my grandchildren would be there also that I would be bringing in food all to which she agreed . Restaurant itself is a nice venue. Helen chose to let me know at 6pm she wanted a further payment for bringing in the food or she would cancel my birthday event due to start at 7pm“sorry I don’t mean to upset you “then after coming to an agreement at 10pm she declared the children had to go. To where or whom I don’t know as there parents were with me. In addition after she said the food couldn’t come in until she was paid she and her sister went and told the caterer that I said they could be given meals (bear in mind these meals were paid for separately nothing to do with her restaurant) and ate full meals. The drinks (tonic for gin and tonic) were flat. When told all she did was shake the bottle (tonic was cheap Aldi stuff) Her communication skills are very poor as she knew kids would be there (less than 10) she made no objection when I booked but then changed her mind 4 hours after we were there. She says yes to the world to get your money and then doesn’t deliver. She also asks for more money for reasons that are still unclear and beyond the original agreement. To say that she spoiled a milestone event is an understatement. The stress and anxiety was unacceptable. However, I truly believe in what goes around comes around and money cannot make up for everything. Parking: Parking on side roads available

Really pleased this place has opened near where we live - used to have to go all the way to n7 or for my favourite Ethiopian restaurant. Gave this one a try and it is also great - does really tasty kitfo and really nice tej. Great to have this on our doorstep - we will be back.
