We were very badly let down by Solopress. We were hosting a public exhibition, for which we ordered roller banners, two days in advance. They were apparently guaranteed for delivery the following day, but didn’t arrive, with a very late night email simply saying it would arrive the next day. We then spent a considerable amount of time speaking to Solopress to confirm the delivery would definitely take place the following day, and explaining the urgency, as that was when the exhibition was to be held. It was agreed that the banners would be delivered, but again, we received an automated late night email simply saying they would not arrive, and that they would come a day later. After reading this email on the morning of the exhibition, we had to wait until after 9am to speak to someone. We were eventually then told there was a problem with the PDF artwork, with a font not properly embedded, despite this having not been mentioned over the previous two days. We were then separately told by another employee that one of their printers was broken. We were luckily able to find another printer, at no notice, who managed to scramble to print the banners. They had no problem printing from the same PDFs, demonstrating there was nothing wrong with the artwork. Solopress meanwhile offered no compensation, or apology. I strongly recommend not using Solopress if you are working to a deadline! We will certainly never use them again.

My emails were responded to extremely quickly and each stage of the process was updated online so you know exactly at what stage your order is at.
