We took our kids for Easter special event conducted in Solihull retirement village .It is easily reachable and has enough car parks. There is a cafe with in ground floor .open to all during the events .Food price is nominal and the cafe even they had special menus to quickly support huge number of visitors .There is also beauty ,art and crafts rooms for the residents. Staffs are kind and friendly and ensured the activity areas are regularly cleaned up.. Superb ambience in the ground floor For Easter events , the team have organized egg on spoon ,art and crafts , raffle , guessing bunny names and chocolates in the jar . Kids loved all the events . There was also face painting and cotton candy which is free of charge .Students from Jet dance academy students offered a performance for the visitors .It was fabulous to see the kids performing .There was also a photo booth with easter egg theme decorations .Team has been thoughtful in putting together these activities .. Just a recommendation to the management , it would be nicer to raise fund using face painting and cotton candy instead of having unkind sellers or traders to this thoughtful event .I'm not sure if sellers/traders are required to pay up for the space .If so I would have welcomed fundraisers from charities (1 person was fund raising for cancer research UK)to use this event to raise fund to support the cause instead of hosting money centered unkind traders/sellers .Another retirement home which we recently visited has good success with above approach .I believe the whole purpose of this event from my standpoint is mainly devised to encourage awareness among the community for about retirement life ,so having money centered sellers doesn't look appealing .I would have welcomed fundraisers from charities (1 person was fund raising for cancer research UK)to use this event to raise fund to support the cause instead of permitting unkind traders/sellers .. I hope this is received in a more positive tone and this is definitely not intended to offend the organizer /staff involved in this decision making .. Last but not least , entire space was decorated and looked vibrant for welcoming Easter

Very high standard of decor. Very expensive apartments. They are tiny and a very hefty service charge applies. Also, you cannot sell your property on the open market. You have to sell back to the "charity" who will deduct 10 per cent of your purchase price for the first 10 years. Also, security not good. Supermarket delivery staff, postal staff and parcel delivery staff allowed into private areas unsupervised.
