We had the Mazda RX-8 engine refurbished in May 2018. We actually stayed in Hayling Island for a week, They couldn't have been more helpful. They even returned the car back to us at the hotel giving use a couple of days to be tourists and we have not had any problems with the car.

I'd say avoid. Delays happen sometimes, I understand. Initially 2 weeks later than the latest date I was told. Upon contact was told that they'd been waiting on some parts. Why was I not told? Several WEEKS after this kept going. I'd been told it had been shipped but nothing. One member of staff contradicts another. One says it has gone, someone else says it hasn't. In the end, the engine apparently got lost... But I don't believe it was shipped as neither myself or the garage had been called with instructions beforehand, as was promised. It got to over a month longer than the latest I was promised, at this point my phone calls, voicemails and text messages were being ignored. I had to resort to contacting my bank for a chargeback. Funnily enough the next morning I had an email telling me it had been shipped... Now I contact them again, but it hasn't been shipped! Just as well, I've lost faith at this point. If this had been sorted as agreed and the company had properly communicated with me, then I would be somewhat more understanding and would have tried to find an alternative instead of waiting. I'm now left with an engine-less RX8 taking up space on my driveway. The only thing I can say in their defence is that they were apologetic, and offered my 5% off (how much longer do I wait?) but I couldn't help thinking that may have been due to my credit card company contacting them!

They changed their name to solvent because everyone knows 'chambers rotary' sucks. They are kind untill you transfer the money after that they do not care about quality, deadlines or warranty. Below zero starts.
