I have been at Sole Street for 8 years and have always been more than happy with how my pony has been cared for, the horses care always comes 1st. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Charlie is very knowledgable and always happy to help. The atmosphere is friendly & relaxed which the horses enjoy too. Great yard to be a part of !

I moved to this yard when Charlie first took over, nearly 2 decades ago and haven’t looked back! It’s friendly, well managed and most importantly, my horse (past & present) is happy and well cared for. The 60x20 arena is fab and brilliantly maintained and rideable all year round. Local hacking is fine with more bridleways the further you go, or you can box/trailer to Trot toll rides at Kings Wood which is lovely. There are also regular clinics catering for all abilities. Would highly recommend!

This is a lovely, friendly and relaxed yard. It is run well and the horses are very well cared for. My horse has been (for her!) quite calm and relaxed since coming here and it is so good knowing that, when I'm at work and not able to see her, she will have all her needs taken care of so I don't have to worry. The manege is beautifully maintained and is a pleasure to ride in. There are regular clinics, polework and jumping, which are fun and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

I moved my horse to Sole Street Stables when I relocated to Kent 7 months ago. The yard owner, Charlie, is very friendly, knowledgeable and provides a very high standard of care, catering to your horse's individual needs. She can also offer lessons and takes horses on schooling livery. The grazing is well managed with plenty of year round turnout (individual and small groups) and they are generous with the hay so the horses are never stood in too long with nothing to eat. The yard runs like clockwork, which is particularly beneficial if your horse is a bit highly strung like mine. The 20 x 60m arena has a fantastic surface, which hasn't flooded at all despite the awful weather this year. There is free parking for trailers, a WC, secure storage for belongings and a heated tack room with kettle, fridge and sofa (big bonus in winter!). Selling and the surrounding areas have some lovely hacking. There is a bit of roadwork to get to the main bridleways but the lanes are quiet. The yard itself has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a good mix of people and horses (15 liveries) who made me feel very welcome. It ticked all the boxes for me whilst being reasonably priced so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for full or part livery around Faversham.
