I booked a service visit with SolarTherm for Friday 5th April 2023, advised by the office they would arrive between 2pm and 3pm with a phone call when they was on route an hour prior to the appointment, Unfortunately they arrived late (4pm) with no notice. We had to go out and therefore missed the appointment. When the office called me to advise the engineer was at our door i advised they was late and we had to go out and we needed to re-arrange. Only at this point I was told the appointment was between the hours of 8am - 5pm and not a timed appointment and your appointment would have been between these hours! At this point I was advised a £50 missed appointment charge would be incurred if I wanted a new appointment I needed to pay the £50 or I could get a refund less the £50 charge. Sadly to say they was none negotiable on the missed appointment charge, and I opted for a refund less the £50 charge. I felt they was partly at fault as they never called prior to there arrival as agreed and they was late for the appointment time I was given, seen as they already had my money I had little choice or options and wasn’t able to get back for them in time to undertake the service. I will be using someone else for future service visits and will NOT be recommending them to anyone! I’ve since found a small local business, very friendly and helpful. They didn’t take an upfront payment for the service and the bonus was they come out Saturday 6th May 2023 and serviced my PV system.

After searching on solar panels and companies, finally found SolarTherm and I can’t be more pleased:) Within a week I have the surveyor Mark attended my property and who has provided me with most practical panels and battery arrangements; Lily then arranged scaffold, panels and batteries to be installed within a very short time, who has made whole process so transparent, smooth and easy. I would like to thank John also, who came on a Saturday just to fit the pigeon proof for me since I am so paranoid lol. The electrician team is also amazingly efficient and hardworking. They have worked all the way through even refusing to have a cuppa. Now, my panels and batteries have been installed for more than a month now. I can tell a dramatic change in my utility bills. Thank you ever so much for all of your effort and I am so glad that I have found you:) all the best x

Good sales & installation - aftercare not matching. Panels installed well and look good, seem to have a good output in the couple of months I've had them up. Had a few issues with how my property was left left by the installation team and was difficult to firstly get in touch with the after care team, but also the support that I received when I did get in contact - would not accept any fault on their side. The after care & accounts team have been incredibly rude since the installation and haven't helped or replied on many of my queries. When I ring them up and speak to them on the phone, a lot of unnecessary attitude is given, raised voices & throwing down the telephone. Honest opinion would be that if I had the chance to change my supplier now, I 100% would.

Had to chase company every step of the way. Some poor work was redone after I sent photographs to illustrate my complaint. An optimistic time frame wasn't matched by performance. Now some 3 months later having to chase for paperwork to deal with feed in arrangements. The company offers an incentive to leave a review.

All the people from office staff to installers seem to know their subject well and everyone without exception was very pleasant to deal with. No hesitation in recommending them to others and I already have.
